Schein Spotlight with Debra Davis


Where do you come from? When did you join HS? first joined Henry Schein in admin in 2008. Firstly in the service department and then moved into Equipment Sales admin before joining the sales team myself
What do you like about working at Henry Schein? I love everything equipment. The products, the team I get to work with from a sales perspective as well as the installation and service perspective. I love that every day is different but always challenging.
What skills or qualities do you think are most important to succeed in your role? I believe my honest and trustworthy approach has been key to my role. Being genuine and approachable gave me the qualities to get started and then my knowledge and reliability has helped me grow throughout the years.
Who or what has inspired you most during your career journey? Other colleagues within the business have been my inspiration. We have had a lot of people who were originally in our Equipment department that have now climbed the career ladder at Henry Schein and they’re still here today.
How do you like to unwind or spend your time outside of work? I have always loved travel, I love exploring new places. Now that I have 2 young kids I don’t go overseas as much but I love spending time with them and taking them to fun places closer to home. I have always loved puzzles as well, when the kids get a little older I look forward to bringing out my puzzle collection.
